As a seasoned nurse you know that graduating from nursing school is an achievement in itself, making a smooth transition into the workforce is quite another. In an effort to enhance our members’ development of clinical skills and nurture growth and confidence, INA has launched a Mentor Program for newly graduated nurses.
INA Mentor’s Program is designed to help new grads recognize their worth and provide them the support they need to succeed in their early careers. Here at INA, we understand that new nurses face a number of challenges in their progression from nursing students to working nurses. The INA Mentor Program helps reduce the uncertainty.
The INA Mentor Program invites you to share your knowledge and expertise to nurture and cultivate our less experienced member nurses. We are asking you to make a minimal commitment of one contact per month (via phone, email, or online chat) with a mentee.
All mentors will have their photo and contact information listed in the Mentor Spotlight section on our newly re-designed website. They will also receive a complimentary certificate suitable for framing, announcing their participation in this revered program.
