The general public know that our bodies are affected differently by various foods and food products. Some of the usual effects might include caffeine giving us a boost of energy; aged cheeses and red wines triggering headaches; and high-fat or acidic foods bring heartburn. But what most people probably don’t know or even nurses forget is how these preservatives, flavors, and artificial food colors affect our children.
